| ORCHEM began business in 1991 as an importer-distributor
of chemicals for PCB production, which were
imported 100% from other countries. Since
then we focused on analysis of such chemicals
for five years. Then, we began developing
our own chemicals starting with additives
and successively producing etching chemicals,
separation agents, non-electrolytic copper
plating chemical, etc. Currently ORCHEM possesses
own technologies for over 50 chemical products,
which are supplied to some 130 client manufacturers
including large Korean companies such as LG
Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. |

has full-process solutions for chemical products
needed in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) production.
Through diligent R&D efforts over the
past ten years we have made ORCHEM as a unique
indigenous competitor to multinational chemicals
importers, who had been in control of the

products have substituted imported chemicals
and whose competitiveness is being recognized

| ORCHEM entered the PCB copper plating technology
area based on our accumulated chemical products
process know-how. ORCHEM has been recognized
as the only qualified vendor of the 'Laser
Via Hole Plating' process that requires super
precision plating technology. The reliability
of our plating quality has been recognized
by large domestic manufacturers such as LG
Electronics. Thus, ORCHEM's plating business
is marching forward towards greater possibilities.
Technology progress in our plating process
area is also significantly impacting performance
improvements in other chemicals and is thus
contributing to overall technical competitiveness
of ORCHEM. |

Facilities for ORCHEM's copper plating business
include the Osan Plant, located within LG
Electronics' Osan Business Site, and the Ansan
Plant, which was added to meet increasing
demand from the market, for total monthly
capacity of 105,000 sheets. ORCHEM has established
trust-based relationships with our clients
and a stable revenue base.
PCB surface processing chemicals and the copper
plating industry has a wide range of applications.
